“ I've never tried KFC nuggets before, so I saw that they were giving away a 10-piece serving of their new saucy nuggets with every fder of $10 or more. It was Sunday the 7th, and I decided to order their spicy chicken sandwich combo with a side of Mac and cheese, another item of theirs I've never tried. I also got a small 5-piece order of their regular nuggets with BBQ sauce. Every item I ordered, I was trying for the first time, even the Blackberry Sweet Lightning.I chose as my drink. I put in my order, and by the time I drove the 5 minutes to get there, I walked in and saw that my rider was ready and sitting on their "pick up" shelf with my name on both the bag of food as well as my drink. I just mentioned to the worker that I was picking up my order. I grabbed it, and it only took 30 seconds inside the restaurant. There's not much of an ambiance since it's only a takeout without any kind of dining room r seating available. The atmosphere was relaxed since it was Sunday afternoon and pretty slow. Theresa's only another woman who also came in before me and got her order right away and left spending less time than myself. I ate the saucy nuggets first, which were covered in Nashville Hot sauce. It was oil-based, so the nuggets stayed quite crispy even though they were drenched in sauce. The sauce had a decent level of heat for anyone trying Nashville Hot sauce for the first time. If I were eating at home, I would have made them spicier by adding chopped habaneros or some ghost pepper powder. After I finished them, I poured any remaining sauce on my sandwich patty just to add more flavor/spice to it. The sandwich was really good and made better with the leftover Nashville Hot sauce. By the time I got to my regular nuggets, they lost some of their crispness. I should have opened the little box they came in so they won't "steam" in there. I ate the Mac and cheese last, and that too was really good.The macaroni was perfectly al dente, and the cheese sauce was nice and creamy, not too thick and not too thin I would definitely come here again. Their service was so fast I realized I forgot to try their apple poppers. I'll come back to try their "Georgia Gold" chicken sandwich. ”
